i just contructed a nice rock montain full of caves and holes for my dwarf puffer to have fun in.

hes going to be in a 10g alone.

my tank is fully cycled and it has the rock mountain, fake plants, a play sand substrate, and possibly a sword tail plant.

is it all good?

cAN i get him on wednesday at petsmart? :P

please say yes!

by the way i know all there needs and so.

See no reason why not.
Keep an eye on water parameters after adding the fish.

hourah im so excited!

when looking for a dwarf puffer in the tank which ones r best to buy?

for a single puffer would a male or female be better?

lastly i know you cant really tell the difference at young but our petsmart is pretty good and keeps the fish ggrowing in the back untilt here a little grown and healthy

i got my 2 bugdies there!

one is 2 and one is 9 years old! holly toco! :shock:

also if i ever plan to get another puffer or fish (as a test) would it be better to get a male or female?

which one is less agressive? :?: :?:

When picking out the puffer(s), look for nice rounded bellies & active swimmers.

Aggression is not very predictable between sexes. I've seen very mean males and females alike. The females tend to be a little less aggressive, but this is not much of a rule to go by. 3 DPs is generally better than 2, but would be pushing the limits of a 10g. My preference would be to stick with 1... It will be very happy in that tank! Nice work.
