Oh dear...I've upset Mags.

Doing my routine water change last week, I decided to have a more radical change around, and swapped the positions of the hollow fake log and the two Habitrail tubes.
Both Robert and Mags play in the tubes, but Mags seems to have made the log her own, and was often to be found in it, playing hide and seek with me.
Since I shifted the log to the diagonally opposite area of the tank, she's not bothered with it, and I caught her earlier, keeled over to one side by the Habitrail tube in the log's former place.
I freaked, thinking she was dying, but when I went up to the tank, I could see she was deliberately in this posture (fins going mad), so she could peer very closely through the transparent tube. I could see her eyes very deliberately examining the tube.
She straightened up when she saw me and started the cockle dance.
Robert seems to have comandeered the log, and Mags seems a bit put out. Next water change, I'll switch them back.
Anyone else seen anything like this?

I've ony had Hoover for a little while, but the time I re-arranged his 10 gallon tank freaked him out big time, and he didn't even like the move to the 20 long... But, he adjusted with time. I wouldn't move it back - it's giving Mags something to think about!

They're funny critters.

Mine get more curious than upset. I did, however, upset my Lone-F8 when I threw his old plants out and didn't replace them.

Out of the two, Mags is gorgeous but dim. It took her a couple of days to FIND the log, let alone hang around deciding whether to go in it or not.
Robert's definately the brains in that tank, he's more adventurous with new foods and approaching strangers.

Update....for y'all out there desperately concerned about Mags' welfare
She's. Finally. Worked. Out. That. She. Can. Hang. Out. In. The. Hamster. Tube.
Sheesh...only took a week.

Thank heavens...
Mags has been projecting heavily, and since I am a sensitive:

H-E-L-P M-E-! has made me toss & turn in my sleep.
(She also tells me the hamster tube is utterly inadequate, and that she is planning to murder Robert in his sleep...)

Followed by me, no doubt.
