My mudskippers tank has some green mold, i think its mold, growing on the tank cover. Its a wood cover I build myself. It was stained with exterior stain. The tank only has a few inches of water and the air is kept humid. Is there anythign I can do to prevent this?

I would say make another and use some sort of treated wood, but if water drips from the wood thats probably not a good idea.
