Well I wake up this morning (thinking my GSP is sleeping) except is he slightly on his side. Then I notice him try to swim and he spirals up to the surface and back down to the substrate (uncontrolled). I immed. take the water params. and they read:
Amonnia-0
Nitrates-0
Nitrites-5
Temp-76
SG-.002 (just started his marine salt a few days ago)
There seems to be a bulge under his beak, here is a pic.

I'd up the temp to 80 & add Melafix for now. I'd also up the salt to 1.004.

Well I did all those things before going to work, and when I returned he was gone. I think I am done with GSP's for now...just going to focus on my F8 and community tank.

All I can figure is he was in freshwater way too much of his life. He was huge, when I got him and only recently started on brackish water.

That sucks. I had bad luck with DPs for a long time before I got ones that would stay alive. The pic doesn't work btw. Its a car crash picture.

What's a car crash picture? His picture in his first post? I see his puffer.
