Bite mark

I have just now noticed a nice sized bite mark on my new F8 (just got better lighting for the QT tank which made it visible)...it doesnt look deep..jusr kind of scabbish, is it best to use melafix, pimafix or both?

I'd use both to prevent infection.

It was recommended to me to increase aeration with an airstone when treating with the fixes and dose every other day combined with daily water changes. Injury cleared up in about a week.

Well it already has pretty good aeration, I was gonna do a water change every other day and the fixes everday and remove carbon.
