can anyone tell me any other foods i can feed my dwarf puffer he/she is being fed on frozen/dry bloodworm and snails.

anything seafood with a shell i'd imagine. Krill, shrimp, mussels, clams, oysters, etc. I am sure there are others.

My GSP wont eat anything live...

Hey there Nick. Welcome. Pretty much anything else is going to be too big for DPs unless you chop it up really small. Have you tried live blackworms yet? Or frozen mysis shrimp.

no i haven't tryed blackworms yet they and good?
and i havent tryed the shrimp aswell i dont know where i can get these from.

the puffer is about _____ in length so he/she is very small

All of my DPs get California blackworms routinely. And always from cone feeders, as they do "contemplate" and examine everything before eating it - without the cone ther would be many escapees into the gravel.

yea, my dp goes over every inch of the tank and when he comes across a snail, eyes it up, circles it, waits for it, waits for it, waits for it....crunch.

lol i have noticed that with mine it takes ages to see what it is.

DPs are not really picky eaters, they just absolutely seem to want to examine every morsel carefully before they bite. It makes me wonder if there is something nasty or toxic in their habitat they they have learned to avoid.

Mine really only ate 3 things, snails, live blackworms and New Life Spectrum small fish formula foods. Anything else they'd look at then just swim away.

trying to get mine to eat frozen krill, atleast small pieces. I put it on a bambo stick and leave it in the tank a few hours. So afr the ghost shrimp are the only ones eating it. My little dp doesnt seemed bothered, although, given he has snails in the tank which means i think he prefers live food.
