Would an un-even belly be a sign of IP?

Is it all the time or only after a meal? My puffers are always all bumpy and uneven (especially the SAP) after eating, but it smooths out as they digest.

its only after eating and now that you mention it, it does seem to go away as he digests.

If mine eats bloodworm, he'll get uneven on one side of his belly, it he eats something with more substance like mussel it's more even but sometimes he gets a lump at the front of his stomach which looked worrying the first time it happened. Once he's digested it though he always returns to his normal streamlined self. I'll start to worry when this doesn't happen.
