Ya know, I really think that late summer early fall must be puffer breeding season.

I'm probably just hallucinating, but for the past several weeks my GSP has had a constant belly, even after not eating for 3 days. Food is going in, and poo is coming out, so he (she?) isn't blocked up. Could Frostina be carrying eggs too?

That is the only way I've been able to ID females for most puffers, After she dumps the eggs and goes slimmer, then builds back up a time or two, you will be convinced.

How do puffers know which season it is with constant lighting and temperature all year round??? in captivity of course!

ps maybe its hormonal at your house Rocker, they say that when a lot of women live together then their cycles gradually change to coincide , maybe its the same with fishy females too lol
