I will be posting pics of my rock project...building a small cave(what was a cave is now just a decoration...the rocks were entirely to heavy to roof), and decorating it with pearl marbles...here is what I started off with...misc. rocks, aquarium silicone (hope it holds), and some top fin brand aquarium decor marbles.

That's pretty awesome lookin', strike2! I like the "bubble" effect with the marbles. I hope your little buddy enjoys his new toy!

Be careful moving them, I tried something similar with lighter weight "river rocks" and the silicone just wouldn't stick all that well.
You don't want them to fall on your feet or through the bottom of the tank now...

that is a very creative idea...i like that, but i dunno if i am feeling the marbles. you could even build it on a piece of slate, it would give a solid base that you could pick it up from. how is it holding up now?

Just wanted to warn you. I picked mine up to vaccuum underneath it and the bottom half fell down pretty hard, if it hadn't been pretty lightweight it would have gone through teh bottom of the tank. Yours looks pretty hefty.
