fahaka puffer questions...

hi i have a few Fahaka puffer questions
1. how big do they get?
2. how aggressive are they?
3. are they rare?
4. what is a good price range?
5. could it live with peacock bass?

1. BIG.. okay, generally around the 12-14" range, not including tail
2. Usually very agressive
3. Not necessarily rare, but you often have to special request them as most stores don't carry them as a regular fish (thank goodness)
4. No idea on the price
5. Not suggested, assuming the bass is a type of cold water fish. Between water temps and cross contamination with parasites/diseases, and the risk that the fahaka will probably shred the bass.. well, its a big risk.

1. Up to 18"
2. Can be very aggressive or very soft.
3. Dont know as im not in the USA.
4. Dont know as im not in the USA.
5. A tank on his own would be best.

4.I payed $90 for mine, but you can probably get a better price than that.

I paid 40 Canadian for a 3 inch with tail. Thats probably 32/33 US.

peacock bass are warm water fish
and thanx for the info!

Most Fahakas will (eventually) kill or maim tankmates.
