Another Burrfish added

I just added a second burr-fish to the tank. I wanted to make sure it survives before I said anything.
It has been treated for parasites (got a friend at LFS that helped) and is eating.
I can't even tell them apart.
My first burrfish is happier that she has a buddy to swim with.
We are going to get a bigger tank for sure.
How big do I need for two burrfishes?

Cool, did you catch the second one, too? Makes me want to make a trip down south for some "fishing." Kind of personalizes the whole experience like the guys who dive for coral frags then have a living reminder of their adventures.

Congrats! How long did you treat for parasites?

What did you use to treat for parasites?
Was the fish in QT in a tank by itself for at least a month in the LFS (no new additions during that time frame)?
Has either of these puffers been dewormed?

I think it was wild caught.

Yikes - wild caught & "treated" and placed immediately in tank with other puffer.

Actually, I believe I read somewhere else that the other one was wild caught too.

yep, he caught both.

no, it was treated for both parasites and worms for a month and then acclimated it and then added to the tank.

Our friend treated it for one month for parasites.
He even brought the burrfish to us and helped me get him into the tank.
MOD EDIT: I combined all you replies into one post.

we did. The first one I treated for worms and parasites thanks to a neighbor that had a valentini puffer. I was short on cash and he helped me out.
This second one we took to our friend because of how sad it looked and he offered to treat it for free. He did not want to charge me in case it did die but this one pulled through.
He brought it to use since we could not get to his business to pick it up.

What medications did you use to treat for parasites and worms?

I'm not exactly sure what my friend used. I just took the puffers in and he offered to treat them.
I'm too confused on the topic so I let him treat them for me.
I've already seen his puffers.
He has a dog faced and some type of sharp nose puffer.
I will have to contact him to find out what he used.
I know he stated he hard a rough time with the second one.
Thanks for the concern.
Our second Burrfish won't any food that is dead. He/She prefers the food alive such as Shrimp, Ghost Shrimp, and earthworms.
I will get pictures posted as soon as I get caught up on my class assignments. I had a system crash and I lost one I was working on.

Awesome fish. I plan on getting a porcupine, spiny box, and stars and stripes when I can get a 180G. Good luck with them.
