My Puffs have Internal Parasite ;ㅁ;
I'm going to get medication for them but which one?

I looked around at websites and this is what I found...
They're currently not interested in food...

Ultra Cure PX is an internal parasite medication for both freshwater and saltwater fish. Formulated with Metronidazole, Flubenol and Praziquantel. Ultra Cure PX controls a variety of parasites: intestinal worms, nematodes, tapeworms, flagellates, heartworms and Heximita. The Gel-Tek formula treats fish directly and helps prevent secondary infections. Contains fish pheromones to entice and enhance feeding behaviour. Does not cloud water. Ultra Cure PX is especially useful for catfish, cichlids goldfish and bottom feeders. 4 oz bottle.

Treats internal parasites. Symptoms of internal parasites include listlessness, loss of weight and premature death of fish.

Clears parasites fast. Clears external and internal parasites. No need to raise the water temperature. Also helps prevent secondary infections and will not harm biological filtration. The fizz lets you know it's working!

Thats what they sell at the aquarium I go to...Which one would cure it fast..? One of my puffy dies today..and the second one doesn't look so good either....I don't want to see another one go.... :cry:

If those are the only ones available to you, give either one a try. Follow the directions and hope for the best. Unfortunately, most off the shelf treatments don't seem to work very well.

If possible, try to find some levimisol at a local feed and tack store if there are any around. Also check the sticky on IPs and treatments at the top of the hospital forum.

good luck!
