Filter Media?

I just purchased my first canister filter (used to use HOB). Before I get it going I just wanted to poll everyone and find out what kind of media you have in yours and what order you stack it in.
Also, for those who specifically own a Filstar XP1: Do you use the powerjet or spraybar attachment for the outlet?
32 gal tank to house 1 GSP, FYI
Cheers

In my fluval canisters I have the sponge prefilters that it comes with, I then use filter floss in the first basket to polish the water. I then have 2 baskets of biomax-style media. The top basket has a bag of purigen for final polishing and organic reduction.

I use the plastic scrubber pads from the dollar store. Their very porous, easy to clean and cheap(Just lightly rinse with a bit of tank water to protect your bacteria). I've used fiber fill(Totally inert) for a buck from any craft store. Keep in mind that I don't use bio media as a way to filter my water. I use it as a home for my beneficial bacteria.
Throwing it out such as with filter flosses can really throw your tank out of whack. Leaving your filter with a reduced ability to remove nitrites. Additional oxygen can greatly increase the function of the bacteria and their growth.
