Water flow for Fahaka tank

I've recently set up a new tank for my Fahaka puffer. It's a bit larger than 400 liters (100 gallons) and my young Fahaka seems to love it!
The tank is currently filtered by 2 EHEIM filters, one 2217 (1000 liters/hour) and one 2236 (600 liters/hour). I have one more 2217 which I can use for this tank, but I 've been thinking if that would create an annoying flow for my Fahaka.
All 3 filters would create a flow of 2600 liters/hour which is 6,5 times the volume of the tank. I wanted to know the experience of more Fahaka keepers on this matter. Do in your experience Fahakas enjoy that kind of water flow, or does it annoy them? What kind of water flow do you use in your tanks?

I have had as much as 3 Aquaclear 500s & an Eheim 2217 on my 125g fahaka tank (had to move one of the 500s to another tank). I'm sure if you added more filtration, he wouldn't mind. They are river-dwelling fish.

I agree w/PP. These are riverine fish and can deal with current quite well, in fact need it for exercise.
There should be areas of high flow water movement, and areas of reduced flow, but canisters are ideal for controlling that by return arrangements.
BTW, don't ever believe that canister (or any other filter format) listed output is a real measure of in-use flow. Those tests are done at zero head and zero resistance, most often on the pump only. Eheim at least does and published two flow rates, but the lesser result is still as near zero resitance as they can set in the lab and is not a real world in-use measure.

I totally agree with you. You can actually see the difference in the water output of a filter after a few months of use. It's always a lot less than the output of a new filter.
I just mentioned the listed output of the filters because there is no way I can tell the actual output.
