SAP teeth trimming

Well, I haven't had one for a couple of years but I did have one lonely one in a 15 gallon tank and found that the addition of snails took care of his teeth problems. I also got him to eat those small betta pellets which helped too. I just posted this to see why so many ppl trim their teeth.

Each puffer is different. My SAP's teeth tend to grow INTO his mouth, so instead of looking buck toothed, they curl back. Even with a daily diet of extremely crunch snails, I couldnt' keep his teeth short, I think its because they didn't line up properly.
Anyways, that's why "I" trim my puff's teeth so often!

Do yours eat 1mm sinking pellets?

Most of the time I feed New Life Spectrum Small Fish Formula, which is a small, sinking pellet that he just loves. Its a heck of a lot easier to feed him that food and ocassional snails, since I'll have to do the trimming anyways.
