New to GSPs

I am not new to fish keeping,but never had a salt water or brackish tank before. Right now i have a 135gal with a Oscar and a 55 gal with my GSP i just got today. It was my understanding that these puffers start off fresh water and change over to brackish and then full salt water. He was in fresh water at the LFS were i got him at. He is only about 1in. right now,how long or when will i need to start adding salt? And,at what salinity(spelling) should it be at first? My set up is
55gal
ac500
sand substrate.
1 1in. GSP

That GSP is sure gonna love it though! Great planning and with such a good start I bet he's going to grow into quite the amazing puffer.
I'd love to see photos of the oscar too, they are gorgeous fish. If its easier, you can also upload the photos to your own photo gallery (use the "user galleries" link in the header to find yours).

I have three small GSPs and two ceylons in a 55 (still cycling the 75 at the new place) and they zip the fully length of the tank regularly.
Its one of the most relaxing and comical tanks i have (its also five inches from me and my computer so i see it for hours a day
.
The more space the merrier for most of my puffs.

PS oscars a great fish but my big cichlid slot is filled by a midas/red devil looking critter that i adore.

You're gonna need a bigger tank than 75g for those 3 as adults. I'd say around 2x that size.
