FAO Rocker and Woland, Is My Tank Too Small for My Abei?

Just checked out the Encyclopedia, looks very good. Clicked on the Abei link and it said minimum tank size 25g.
I am now slightly worried as the tank I have him in is 16UK/18US gallons. Dimensions are 24"L x 12"W x 15"H. If this isn't big enough I would like to know so I can give him the home he deserves. He is just over 3" at the moment and I don't want to stunt him... or is it too late?

I have based the size on my own experience and I am open to debate. There is not much info out there on this particular puffer so I have to rely on the info here and my own experience. i was toying with stating 20gUS .
However these puffers max out at 4" or 10.4cm. they are hunters and mine in particular is very active. I have mine in 125l which is 33gUS.I opted for a the middle ground based on similar sized puffers and their tanks that are already stated.
The forum is all about discussion and experiences which obviously we would like you to share.
Whilst i have you, so to speak I was looking at including your pics, any objections?

No objections to the pics, if you want the bigger one my avatar is based on let me know, thats the best shot I got of him.
In terms of tank usage, I would say mine uses half of it most of the time.
Mine seems to have bursts of activity followed by a lot of inactivity.
During the day he will hover in what I can only describe as a striking pose with his nose up and tail down hiding under bogwood or behind plants waiting for something to come by.
He does become a bit more active at night when he will start to explore the tank a bit more and can sometimes be found hovering near the top of the tank or having a bit of an explore.
It does seem to vary quite a lot though, some days he will barely move and others he will be very active.
