Chewing on LR

My Ceylon's lips look all raw. I wonder if it's from chewing on the new live rock I have in there? Treating with Melafix--hate what that does to my skimmer though.

Makes it bubble up & overflow. Doesn't function well that way.

On & off. It isn't red anymore, just torn up a little. Melafix is doing it's job. Just messing w/my skimmer. It's full in 1 day!

J/k, I can't wait until my GSPs get large enough to make the change to SW. I have heard how much they like picking at live rock searching for food. Anything to make their day more interesting. Hope he/she gets well soon.

He's probably really gone to town on it cos it's a novelty, and he'll learn to curb his enthusiasm after a bit.

It takes 1 full day?! When I added it to my sw tank, it frothed to the point of overflow in less than 5 minutes. I can't remember if it was Mela or Pima, but it sure made a mess!Pufferpunk wrote:Just messing w/my skimmer. It's full in 1 day!
