Wow this goes to show you should always do your research first. I did some moving around and i put 2 Carinotetraodon travancoricus (Dwarfs) with 6 neon tetras and everything was cool, tetras kept with them selves and the Dwarfs kept to them selves as well. Now the big mistake, 1st was getting 3 more fish forgetting that i only had a 25G. 2nd was i bought 3 angel fish. From the day I put them in I didn't know if that was such a good idea, I watched in good humor and disbelief the Dwarfs would all day long bully them and chase them around the tank nipping at them. I was watching a dwarf no bigger than MY finger nail bully something 3X there size. I was getting afraid now. Well sad to say all 3 angels were led to there death and i stronger believe the Dwarfs to be result of it. HERE IT IS STRAIGHT FROM THE PUFFER LIST!

and if your really unlucky, like me, you will get a evil male that will even bully the crap out of other DPs... he is now by him self...

You did end up moving him. Where'd you put him?

I moved him. I got a tank divider and sectioned off part of my 29g with the Modestus.

which is why I am praying that whatever Flutter has is not contagious....

Sorry to hear about your fish, but it does seem like you had an inkling of what was happening?.

Poor angelfish, not only bullied to death by some cute tiny puffers but also put into a fish tank that's much to small. Angel fish need a fish tank that's at least 65g (250l) and the tank should be 20inch (about 50cm) high when they are fully grown.

They get bigger than you think

DPs are very misleading. Tiny, cute little buggers but are actually very large piranha in disguise. That's why I get upset when people don't believe me when I tell them how aggressive they are and that they shouldn't be put into tanks with anything else. They do it anyway, only to find that things have gone horribly wrong. *sigh*

I ordered some the other day from an lfs. Just out of caution told him not to keep them with other fish. He looks at me like im crazy and says he'll do it. i sincerly hope so, i knew they were agressive but i never thought they were that agressive.

Wow, seems like you got the jerk of the tank. Any dwarfs I have had have been laid back and don't really care unless one of their kind swims on their section of gravel.
