So, I was looking at my puffer tonight (I awoke him for a second to let someone see) and I noticed a slime trail from his belly. It had sand all in it kinda, like a snail leaves...

Also, earlier i saw just like a jelly mucus ball sitting on the sand? I didn't know what it was, but it looked kinda like an empty snail egg sack? Anyone know what could be up?

Water readings:

Am: 0 ppm
Ni: 0 ppm
Na: 0 ppm
pH: 7.8

He's an F8 in 45 gallon with 2 others, still little young. Hes probably about 1.5 inches...

MY GSP sometimes has a mucussy belly that sand sticks to. I don't think it's anything to worry about, as he's as healthy as can be otherwise. I assume it's just their slime coat.

That's what I was thinking, but I just wanted the opinion of someone else also. Thanks man.
