Black river puffer? Twin spot puffer?

Well once again after perusing through my wholesale list (where I do my private orders) I saw "black river puffer" and "twin spot puffer" listed under their puffer section and can't really figure out which 2 these guys are.
For black river I'm thinking suvattii maybe? [dunno why that came to mind] Or a palembang.
For the twin spot I'm thinking some target species, abei, or a palembang. Anyone seen puffs under those names?

I saw one site online selling Ceylons as 'Twin spotted puffers'. I'm sure many other species get stuck under that name too and I'm probably confusing you even more. Sorry!

Twin spot is most likely a Tetraodon leiurus.
My bet for the black river is palembang

I'm talking to someone who bought two puffers for his community tank. Asked what kind they were, the store apparently had them listed as "freshwater puffers" but he thinks they're "Brazilian puffers." Any idea what that would be? I pointed him to pufferlist and asked him to see if he could find it there.

Well I'm definitely recommending he return them. Of all puffers for a newbie puffer keeper not to get, I think SAPs are definitely high on the list!
I just hope he listens.

Definatly SAPs for Brazilian puffs.
My flounders are doing great OraLacerta! These things are like corries, they are indistructable.
Back to the puffs. Well both are listed for $3 USD straight off and I was looking to get 3 of each just for the heck of finding out what they are and possibly getting something that normally would never be seen in my area. Hopefully not ceylons since I already have 1 fatty at the moment, no need for another one really. As for twin spots I was thinking about the targets because of the 'target' spots they have since they have them one on each side. Same with the spot close to the dorsal of palembangs (I think I'm thinking too deeply into it.) As for the black river being a palembang it wouldnt supprise me. Be funny if it was actually hairies
highly doubt it though.

Mine has been over-eating and is on a diet!
Back to the two puffers- Is your store ordering those two puffs or are they simply 'available' for ordering on the supply list?
