tank size for figure 8 puffer?

would a 54 litre tank be ok? 2 foot long, 1 foot wide, 1 foot high

It's about 16 UK gallons, it will make a nice home for one.

is £8 a lot for one about pea size? seems alot to me

Does sound pricey in US terms, but I don't know how much they normally go for in the UK.

As for size, I would rather buy a baby F8 than one that's full-grown and you have no idea how old it is. With F8 puffers, at least around here, size doesn't affect the price.

It would be in Canada...here (small western city) an F8 is closer to 10 cdn (more or less 5 pounds)...It could be less in a Major city

I think that tanks a bit small personally. It's 14 US gals. You culd make it work for 1 maybe, but it won't hold close to 14 gals.

One foot by one foot by two feet is the standard US 15 gallon tank, and IMHO is fine for a single F-8. It does not of course hold 15 gallons, but I have yet to own any tank which holds its nominal volume. A 20-long (1x1x2 1/2') would be luxurious, but does not hold anything close to 20 US gallons either.
