Has it got a spot near its tail, looks like it has from the second picture,
Possibly one of the Target Puffers but i'm not sure which one. maybe T. Turgidus or T. Cochinchensis.

Definitely one of the target puffers. Possibly a turgidus, although it is a little hard to tell from the photos.

My vote is turgidus, but he is awefully stressed and dark

Hopefully he will get a little brighter when he's settled in and got used to his new surroundings.

Back to the puffer ID, im sure I remember Rocker saying that he had never seen a T. Turgidus in the UK, but if it is you've got something of a rarity there. As you're in the UK its probably more likely to be a t.cochinchensis (fangs puffer)
Definitely get some more pics up when you can.

Looks like a common target to me...no red dot near tail.

If you look on the first 2 pictures its there, or it seems to be.

When it gets more acclimated it will be easier to tell. Take some pictures when (s)he gets more settled in.
