White spot (cyst) on Fahaka

Hi

I've bought this Fahaka about 2 weeks ago and it has this white cyst on his right fin. It looks like it's got fluid in it. The fish is eating properly and swims without any trouble, it doesn't look as if it is affected.
Has anyone ever encountered a similar problem? Should I try to remove the cyst or not?
You can barely see the cyst in the photo, but unfortunately I can't take a better one.

I'd leave it. If you pop it, you could leave the fish open to infection. Try Melafix/Pimafix & keep the water pristene.

I've already tried melafix/primafix with no results.
Water quality is perfect (ammonia 0, NO2 0, NO3 never above 15).

I'm worried that if I pop it, it could get infected. But I'm also worried of what it will turn out if I don't pop it.

Hasn't anyone ever encountered something similar?

I'd had the same problem, Still don't know what it is but my puffer seems to be doing fine. I know this topic is kind of old but has anyone found out what this is?

Could it be an egg sac? Like how aro have as juveniles?

Recently, there were a few folks that had puffers w/cysts on their mouth. Eventually they just ent away & healed up.
