Saltwater & Computer Monitors

...don't mix! I moved my computer into my office/fish room. I bought some liverock & wanted to bleach all the other decor, so it'd look really nice in the tank. As I was puting the decor back into the tank, the puffers got agitated & splashed a huge amount of water from my uncovered tank, onto my desk. The moniter went off & started making sparking type spots/sounds on the monitor. This is the brand new monitor I got from Hubby for X-mas. I just turned it off & went out for a few hours. Hubby turned back on the computer & he said it was fine! Yippee! :D I thought for sure it was a goner & I'd have to go back to the tiny old screen I had before.

Ya, SW ruins a lot. I have a wall where a tank use to be and now the wall will not paint properly. Also i have this world globe next to my tank and any little splash corrodes the stand.

Yikes!!! I have an antique globe of the world next to Aphrodite and Collumbo's tank... maybe I should get a magnifying glass and do a little detective work to see if there's any confusion... Crappy pun I know... RIP Peter Falk heh heh
