I have just had to trim the teeth of my GSP, per Pufferpunk's sticky (see here: http://www.uk-aquarist.com/index.php?sh ... ntry205124).

I have noticed that since his trim (about 6hrs) he has had a blackened area around his mouth. I am thinking this may be bruising, could this be right?

That, or stress colours. Keep an eye on it and see if it goes down at all. If it was bruising, I don't know what you could do about it anyway.

Theres been no improvement over about a week, so I'm assuming its not stress marks, cause he seems happy enough. Its just between his teeth and eyes on both sides like tribal war paint or something!
