GSP with "gas"?

Ever just sitting there watching your puffer, and all of a sudden, you catch a whiff of some funky krill-like smell? And you sit there, and you wonder, can I even ask someone this, or will they think I'm crazy? Can you really ask a bunch of strangers, "hey, do you know if fish... fart?"

Seriously though, it's happened several times. The tank is only 5-6 feet away from my computer where I spend most of my day. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this? By the way, I'm talking about a 5 inch GSP in a 36 gallon tank. And it's not after a feeding or anything. It's just out of nowhere!

Wow Phaedrus, what a strange but interesting link! Hope my Pangasius Catfish doesn't get into that...

So shall I assume that the communication here was either "give me more shrimp" or "give me more snails"? *grin*
