Hi

We are from a dutch forum and we have a problem with a fahaka called Scooby.
Scooby is my 11" Fahaka, till now he/she was doing fine.. i have him since September 2005. I keep him in a 500L tank, with a few catfish.
Since yesterday he started to breath fast in he digged himself under the sand and stayed there all day.
Now he does not want to eat his favourite food(clambs) and is stil breathing very vast, his colour is kind a greyish and his fin is hanging. His sidefins are moving like normal.
Water parameters are PH 7,5 NO2= 0 NO3= less then 12,5 (light orange on the test)
i do change water change 40% every 1-2 weeks. I use a eheim filter 2328, but i will change that soon to a 2260
Changed my water again yesterday.
Sorry for my poor english
Can somebody help us please???

I have no idea how I missed this thread. I am so sorry.

Two months later, is he still ill/alive?

Ditto. I see several posts that I missed when they were first made.
