I wouldn't feed them to your puffers. They are meant to send sharp hairy barbs into their mouth.

So would you worry about them?
You think the puffers will get hurt by attacking them or vise versa?

GSPs are smarter than many people might think. Mine took a bite of xenia and quickly realized that it wasn't tasty. They haven't touched it since. I think they also learn that bristle worms invoke a stinging sensation and they will then avoid them from then on. You'll never rid your SW tank of bristle worms anyway without using strong chemicals and that will kill all kinds of good critters as well. I say leave 'em and don't worry about the GSPs eating them.
