Midnight Dogface Puffer Concern
Posted: Tue Oct 21, 2025 2:53 pm
I have a midnight DF puffer that is about 6-7 inches long. I brought him home Saturday afternoon and he immediately went into the tank and started foraging and blowing sand. That night he ate voraciously until I cut him off, he likely overate. He didn’t eat again for 48 hours and then I could only get he to reluctantly eat 2 krill. His eyes look a bit cloud to me and he occasionally rubs himself on the rocks. He was eating pellets and frozen for a week at my LFS before coming here. All other fish are in excellent repose. Any thoughts/advice are greatly appreciated.
