Hi! a while ago i made a post when i first got my f8 asking some questions, all of those have been resolved thanks to the response i got however there is still one that i only realised was abnormal recently after doing some research, now im 99.99% sure this "problem" is not linked to water parameters but i will list them anyway

nitrate- <20
nitrite - 0
ammonia- 0
PH- 8
salinity of 1.008 ssg

the "problem" i have has basically occurred since the day i got him and i always just thought it was his personality, i mean maybe it is, he basically does nothing but glass surf 24/7 he eats well, and when i feed him his colours sometimes brighten up and he gets happy for a few minutes, then straight back to glass surfing, he is treated for all disease i could think of/worms and as far as i can tell hes a very healthy boy, so i have no idea why he does this and id really appreciate some help, forgot to add but hes in a 110 litre on his own with quite a lot of rockwork, so i highly doubt hes bored of his surroundings (he doesnt even look at them)

You have enough room to add a few dither fish. I suggest 3-4 mollies.

thanks for the reply ! ill look into getting a few mollies, my final question is whether its normal for him to "sleep-swim"? i cant find anyone talking about it but he never sits still, in fact in the year ive had him hes only rested on the sandbed maybe 10 or so times, and at night he goes into a weird daze where he kinda aimlessly paces the glass and doeesnt respond to stimuli, which i assume to be his way of sleeping, but is this normal or is it a sign of something wrong?

Yes, he could be sleeping.
