Salinity Help - Figure 8 Puffer

I am *new**new* when it comes to brackish tanks, but have kept freshwater for the past decade. I’ve been looking for Amazon puffers for the last year and due to lack of availability decided to look into Figure 8 puffers, which is what I ultimately went with.
The salinity tester that I have works in measuring salinity as a percentage and in ppm/parts per thousand. When I got them from the store, the water they were being kept in was 22.4 parts per thousand. They said they’d been there for a couple of months at that salinity.
I can’t find anything online referencing the typical “parts per thousand” for brackish tanks or specifically, Figure 8 puffers. What’s the ideal range when it comes to measuring salinity in parts per thousand?
Thank you!
Ciara
