F8 desperately need help!

Hi guys!

Info first
80 litre
Nitrate 20
Nitrite 0
PH 7.5
Salinity 1.007

Please help!

We have two F8’s in the tank and in the last week, the smallest has been looking paler and taking longer to darken up when she wakes and not fully going darker sometimes. Her eyes started going a little cloudy so we treated with Melafix. The only tank mate that they had was a bristlenose pleco. The melafix messed them up and we ended up giving the pleco CPR and he has survived.

The F8 is rapidly declining. The lethargy is insane. She really doesn’t want to wake up and spends her day at the bottom of the tank. She tries to come say hi, but ends up nosediving as it seems she doesn’t have the energy.

We have put an anti fungal in and she perked up for half a day today. Now she has drastically declined again.

She has not eaten for 4 days now and that is very unlike her.

This evening she had a TINY amount of white jelly stringy poop but it really was tiny. Her sides are starting to suck in and she doesn’t have her little belly.

We have tried feeding her favourites but she just doesn’t care. We have simulated movement on the food to stimulate the hunting but still no go.

She eats normally every other day and they get a random selection of the following:

Live feeder shrimp
Prawn (with shell)
Cockle (her favourite) sometimes with shell sometimes without
Mussel
Live Blood worm (her other favourite)
Live Mitosis
live Brine shrimp

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! She’s a real part of our family!

I assume there is no ammonia in there?
I'm not sure why you're using an anti fungal. I would be using Prazipro to treat internal parasites. Best treated internally by soaking their food, you could try adding garlic to enhance appetite.
