Help my pufferfish passed

I need help and advice. I've had the worst year with losing my mom unexpectedly and this hobby has helped a lot. I started at the end of February and just had a tank crash last month losing most of my favorite fish. I was able to save my lion fish and large clown. I recently got a dogface pufferfish and he was fine eating and swimming then developed a bump on its tummy then it got bigger within a day. Now I found her passing away on my rock. She inflated herself then got small. I'm so heartbroken I know this is part of the hobby. No one knew what could have happened and there's not a lot of research online. Does anyone know what this could have been.
So sorry for the loss of your mom & this dogface. Was this fish in the same tank as your porc?
