Pigmy puffer tank mate

Post by Wendywoo »

Hello, I am down to one pigmy puffer in my 52l tank. She shares a tank with some sort of catfish that eats the algae. The catfish is now twice the size of the pigmy puffer (I started with 4 puffers but reluctance to eat frozen food and some unknown illness killed off the others. This one seems fine, although I have to feed carefully otherwise the catfish gets it all. What do people think of a) leaving just the 2? b) adding some more pigmy puffers c) adding some other (easier) fish? I love my puffers but it’s so sad when they die! Thanks
