Sap: foods and compatibility

Post by lavandino »

Hi guys! I would like to breed colomesus asellus in my tank. The tank is 270lt (110x50x50).
The tank was set-up again in 1st november (it was malawi tank for 3 years before 1st november). Now I have a lot of plants (crypto, vallisneria, sagittaria, egerie) and 2 big woods. The substrate is fine grey river sand.
External filter: tetra ex 800
Light: led lamp nicrew-20w
Heater: 250w
Temp: 23-24 celsius

Currently I have a little group of 5 otocinclus and many physa. I would like to insert 6 SAP. What fishes could i put with them?

I have read that is not easy feed colomesus asellus. Do they accept easily dry food?
I will use frozen foods and live snails and live earthworms.

But…I am concerned about tooth growth.
Which freeze-dried food is better? And which one is a good choice to smooth tooths? Brine shrimps? Daphnia? Tubifex? River shrimps? Gammarus? Chironomus? Crickets?

I hope my english is clear :) 🇮🇹

You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

90% of their diet should be snails.
