swalloed something

Post by dharrell »

Hello I have a green spotted puffer and i noticed yesterday that it looked like he was trying to cough up something. i took a closer look and his gills are flared out and there is a pin shaped bump under his mouth. Is there anyway to help him. he still eats and swims he just dosent eat that much. ive heard epsom salt baths help constimated fish. Would that work for him?
I tried peas but he dosent care for them. Thank you!

I'm not sure why you think he's constipated. Is he pooping? Is he eating/ swimming normally? What are the water parameters?
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
