The Puffer Forum

Aloha, I'm new to the forum though I've been lurking for awhile,lol. Anyways soon to be new puffer owner. I've setup a 20gal long for a Hairy puffer (Pao Bailey) just waiting the cycle to complete (about 3 weeks in). Anyways super stoked and cant wait. I do have one question though, I was just reading up about the species again but came across something that said this puffer prefers brackish water over fresh, is that true? Just wanting to be sure before I move him in if I need to pivot and change the my water parameters. Any other feedback regarding these cool guys would be appreciated as well. Mahalo
