Small white fuzzy spots on my irrubesco puffer

I got my puffer 2 days ago and just today observed there were some white fuzzy spots on top of my irrubesco puffer. Im not sure if its just colouration or debris as it does not look like ich or white spot or wool. Anyone have some advice or explanation?

Are you sure that's not its tiny spikes?

Heres a top view of my puffer, from the photo you cant see the fuzz of the spots but it closely resembles the fuzzy spike nature of cactus. Ill attempt to get a better photo when the opportunity presents its self.

Do you have a side view of this fish? Is it alone?
