The water condition is brackish

1. Drain 50% of water
2. Fill in the tank back with tap water.
3. Put anti- chlorine
4.put salt

Im new to this. Is this a correct way to do a water change for brackish water?

No, the salt has to be pre-mixed in a bucket so you know the specific gravity. I would give it overnight. Dechlor goes in before filling.

A little shortcut I do once the tank is at the specific gravity I want it to be permanently is as long as I know exactly how much salt it takes to get to that specific gravity for a 50% water change, I can add the salt directly to the intake end at the top of the filter. You may not want to do it that way though if you want to be more exact.
