Food interest in SAP

Post by CPettigrew »

From my understanding and research it can take SAP a week or two to become comfortable enough to eat. We did try to feed him some frozen krill yesterday and he nipped a bit but didn’t really seem interested.
What all do you do to get your SAP interested in food?

Hi! So I had the same issue with my first sap. He didn’t start eating until I purchased 3 other sap. They really do best in groups and their natural instincts kick in much more. I’m currently on blood worms with 3 of them and one of them has finally figured out snails . It’s a work in progress for sure.
