My fahaka puffer fish doesn’t move

I recently bought a fahaka puffer fish from a local pet valu and since I got him he has done nothing but sit on the ground and barely move even when I try and put some snails in the tank he does not seem in the slightest bit interested he is probably about 1-2 inches big I don’t know if it is ok or not so I need help lol
