Too much current for young fahaka?

Post by wishuponafish »

My fahaka is about 4" long and I'm preparing to move him to a 150 gallon tank... However, I have a canister filter on it and the current is very strong even with the spray bar, enough that most fish need to swim to stay in place.

Are fahakas okay with strong current? If not, I will use a sponge filter instead.

You should be fine. They're from the Nile river, plenty of flow there.
