Stressed schoutedeni I need advice

Hello,

I have a stressed out Tetraodon schoutedeni puffer. I recently had to move his home so I had to do a large water change. I removed the puffer from his home and placed him in a large bucket with his own water and covered the bucket to keep his stress down. Well after the move and the water change... I did mess up and give him new water when I should have just saved his old water. But he is now sitting on the bottom of the tank in the corner with dark black spots and is super lethargic. He is not eating or actively swimming anymore.

Any advice on how to help him calm down like adding some salt or just letting him be for a day?

Ph: 7.2, No2: 0, No3: 0, Ammonia: 0, temp: 79
less than 6 months old so he is in a 20 gallon
Tank mates: 4 Otocinlus
Some sneaky ramshorn snails.

Did you keep the filter media? Did you keep it wet? Melafix is supposed to help with stress.
