First time puffer owner

Hi all, I've been keeping freshwater community tanks for over a decade, but just ordered a trio of dwarf puffers for an established, cycled, dirt planted 15 gallon tank. I've got plenty of pond (bladder) snails in my community planted tank, frozen bloodworms & frozen brine shrimp to offer them. Tank set for ~75 F, neutral pH. It's a jungle of rotala, I have to trim back frequently. Any advice on how to acclimate when they arrive? Being shipped UPS overnight soon.

Welcome!
Same as any other fish, float bag, open bag, add 1/2 cup water every 10 minutes 3x & pour thru a net to add the fish to the tank.
They're shoaling species--best in groups of 6 or more.

Curious as to the net part. I've read and been told not to net puffs as during transition they can suck in air. I don't have experience with dwarf puffers though. Are they different?

All puffers are the same in that respect.

Just saying hi and it's nice to meet you!😃
I found reading your message and I'm interested in how to acclimate our new Fahaka pufferfish and I'll be doing this then, very interesting. We want his transfer to be perfect, of course.
