I’m hoping someone can give me some insight. My palembangensis group laid some eggs, which disappeared a few hours after I saw them. I’ve read suvatti males guard eggs but I didn’t see that behavior, though there is an individual that tends to hover there. I have a group of 7 with varying personalities and all have set territories.
Has anyone bred these, how do they mate, etc? Any insight appreciated as I assume they will probably drop eggs again.

Just an update. The pair in question have laid eggs 3 times now. In each case the male fans them but they’re gone within 48 hours. They’ve used the same driftwood each time. I considered taking out the driftwood to incubate the eggs separately, but I’m worried it might spoil the mood. I think I kenos who the female is and she is the largest and most dominent of the 7. I don’t know if one if the fish eats the eggs or if they fall into the substrate. I might put a video feed on them next time.
