Need a little advice.

Hey guys I’ve just bought my new puffer and he has been in his tank a night, the ph levels and temp are perfect for him and he has been fed (bloodworms) although he keeps going to the top of the tank it looks like he is trying to get air and he is resting on his plants, what could this mean ? Cheers

Hello, my puffer (Fahaka) has just been placed in his 5 gallon rank 2 nights ago he is only a baby about 3cm , the temp is 27c and the ph is about 7.4 . He is fed every morning and every night on blood worms . He is the only fish in the tank, which contains a few live plants to give of oxygen and a 1 fake plant for decoration

1st of all, even a 3cm fahaka belongs in a 50L tank. Figure 40L/2.5cm of fish.
How EXACTLY did you cycle this tank?
Parameters please: Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate.
What are your upgrade plans?
