I'd say it's a young P. leiurus, a species which is known to sometimes have more than one ocellated spot. Could also be a P. cochinchinensis with quite aberrant coloration.

Thanks Corvus, actually the photo was supposed to be a Cochinchinensis, but I wasn't sure. I have bought more than one puffer that's been sold as one thing and when I get it, find out it's something quite different (usually an Abei or Turgidus). However, after having better photos sent to me, it turns out the fish for sale is, in fact, a Leiurus, which I could see easily with the better photos. But the first photo, the one I posted, I just could not, for certain, determine what it was. Thanks for your help. I'll be getting my Leiurus this week, a puffer I have never owned in all my years of keeping puffers, so I'm a bit excited! :)

I was furious when I ordered an abei (one of my dream puffs) from the photo & it turned out to be a turgidus. I already had one. Love her anyway though.

That has has happened to me so many times. I've ordered puffers and ended up with Abei's, when I already had one. I have ordered what were supposed to a Fangs and ended up with a Turgidus, which I already had. So when I seen this fish recently for sale, I really wanted it because I've yet to own a Fangs puffer. But something bothered me about the photo, and so I asked for more photos, and the man sent me 2 more, different, photos, and that's when I figured it was an Leiurus, not a Fangs. But I've never owned a Leiurus either, so it's good either way. If I get a Fangs, I'm happy, and if I get a Leiurus, I'm happy too. Also, I haven't had a new puffer in over 4 years, so it's exciting too.
