F8 rubbing/flinging himself into things possible parasite?

I've had this fish for almost a year now but about a month ago I noticed his eyes were cloudy and I ended up giving him melafix and treated him with general cure (prazi&metro) wasn't sure he was going to make it once he stopped eating, but he pulled through and is looking healthy again. The only problem is now he is almost rubbing himself against decorations in the tank in almost flinging himself into stuff on the side where it looks like he has a little bump so I'm worried it's a parasite of some kind. The other day I packed a snail with a good amount of general cure powder because I wasn't sure he ate enough from the worms I mixed up with it. Anyway he still seems to have a little bump on his side. I don't know know if I should keep giving him medication I don't want to overdo it but I'm hoping I gave him enough. Could it possibly be constipation perhaps? I do feed him a lot planning on skipping a day of food for him so he can clear his system? I'm just wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences with puffers acting like this and I'm confused because he looks healthy besides the bump which he has had for a while I think. Hopefully it's no big deal I just don't want to make sure I help him as best I can if it is something. Any advice would be appreciated. Sorry about the run on sentences.

I don't really see any bump. Careful with meds. Flashing like that usually indicates ich. What's the SG of the tank?

.008 when he wasn't doing well it was at .005 I think raising the sg helped I forgot to mention is fish has always had a twitch he does sometimes almost as if he was in pain like he jumps or something so that's always made me think that there's something going on

You mean 1.008? What about other parameters?

Other parameters are 0 ammonia and nitrites and nitrates look to be under 5, and yes 1.008

Thanks, I would just think it was a food bump except for that behavior that goes along with it that makes me worry. I do probably overfeed him because I haven't skipped a day in a long time, is constipation a possibility? I won't dose any more meds. I noticed he seems a lot more skittish when he wasn't doing well and seeing him itch himself and jerk occasionally like he does maybe just made me overthink it. Hopefully

I tested my water hardness with an API kit and I put about 50 drops in and it never turned green.. is that a problem or is there something that would throw off the test in brackish water or not be applicable?

I see the lump now--probably just food. Does it go down after skipping a day of eating?

I honestly haven't skipped a full day of eating yet, when his stomach goes down it gets harder to notice it but it seems like it reappears on the same side and I think that's the side he tries to itch himself on

Maybe you're overfeeding? Do you know what ich looks like?

Would it be a lot of white spots of different sizes I saw a picture of when he was sick it almost looked like he had white spots but they were on his pores and all of the same small size so I don't think that was it

Could overfeeding and constipation possibly cause him to be jumping like he does he'll just be swimming along randomly and then he'll twitch like he's in pain I'm pretty sure he's not doing it intentionally I could be wrong though
