Help On new GSP salinity water levels

Post by ThatsKou » Sat Sep 28, 2019 1:58 pm

I am planing on getting a GSP for my 55 gal long tank. I want to cycle the tank before I add the fish. How much salt should I add to a 5 gal bucket to get lower on the salinity scale? :?:

What SG is the puffer in at the shop? Most shops keep them in FW. If that's the case, then be sure the tank is stable for a few weeks after it's been cycled & the fish is added, before you start raising the SG.
